Desiree Cox

Desiree Cox is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Zelms Erlich Lenkov and is a law and motion attorney with extensive experience in labor and employment issues, including harassment claims, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination cases, as well as habitability disputes, and commercial litigation. She also has experience in construction defect litigation, commercial property disputes, and the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.

Prior to joining the firm, Desiree represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a myriad of different practice areas. She has extensive experience in researching, drafting, and arguing a variety of types of motions including disposable motions and trial motions, as well as case and discovery strategy, and conducting defending depositions.

A southern California native, Desiree received her B.S. in Legal Studies from St. John’s University before obtaining her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. She is admitted to the California bar, and is licensed to practice in the Northern, Southern, and Central Districts of California.

In her spare time, Desiree is an avid horsewoman with a passion for travel (both domestic and international) and has had the privilege of riding at the world’s second oldest riding school. She also enjoys live music, ballet, and reading.
