Biography

Jamileh Hawatmeh is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Zelms Erlich Lenkov where she practices with the real estate and professional liability teams. She is involved in all phases of litigation from inception of a case through resolution, including trial.

In addition to real estate and professional liability litigation, Ms. Hawatmeh’s practice also includes defense of real-estate related disciplinary matters, legal malpractice, and state bar defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hawatmeh represented individuals, small start-ups, and large corporate entities in high-risk litigation involving a variety of business tort claims.

Ms. Hawatmeh graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in International Business Relations. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law, where she was a member of the school’s honor council and received CALI Excellence for the Future Award® in Trial Practice. Ms. Hawatmeh received her J.D. with an emphasis in Advocacy & Dispute Resolution. Ms. Hawatmeh also attended Cambridge University, Sidney Sussex College, in Cambridge, England to study International Business Law.

Ms. Hawatmeh is a current member of the California Lawyers Association Real Property Law Executive Committee and a member of the Association of Discipline Defense Counsel.
