Biography
Mari Zang is Senior Counsel in the Los Angeles Office of Zelms Erlich Lenkov. She handles Personal Injury, Product Liability, Premises Liability, Trucking Law, Wrongful Death, and Motor Vehicle cases.
With extensive experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, discovery disputes, fraud investigations, and litigation, Ms. Zang represents clients through every stage of the dispute resolution process.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Zang worked with the United States Department of Justice on the landmark fair housing settlement against Countrywide Financial Corporation, which resulted in compensation for more than 200,000 borrowers and remains one of the largest fair housing settlements in U.S. history.
Ms. Zang earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arizona and her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. Originally from Arizona, Ms. Zang has called Los Angeles home for more than 15 years.
Ms. Zang is admitted to the California and New York State Bars, as well as the Central and Northern Districts of California. Outside the office, Ms. Zang is an animal lover, an avid snowboarder, a world traveler and enjoys cooking.
