Biography

Shannon Wallen is Senior Counsel at our California office and has been working in the legal field for almost two decades. Her practice focuses on personal injury insurance defense, premises liability defense, construction defect defense, business law, and employment defense.

With a focus on insurance defense and construction defect litigation, Mrs. Wallen has an established track record of having contractor clients dismissed from litigation entirely and/or settling for a fraction of the original damages claimed against her clients, including a case that settled for under 3% of the original damages claimed against her client. She prides herself on being realistic, knowledgeable, accessible, and having the ability to put her clients at ease as they navigate complex cases together.

Mrs. Wallen obtained her J.D. from San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis, California where she was active in the Student Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, volunteered for a free immigration clinic, participated in multiple moot court competitions, and led the school’s Relay for Life team. She served as the Student Bar Association’s President, was a participant on the law school’s Board, extended her law fraternity’s philanthropic reach to include large donations to the American Cancer Society, and was awarded the Clovis Soroptimist Club’s Women’s Advocate Award for her volunteer work and involvement in organizations supporting and advocating for women in her community.

Mrs. Wallen enjoys spending time being “indoorsy” with her husband and children, snuggling with her dog, cooking, ordering DoorDash, and watching everything that streams.
