The 2025 midyear meeting of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association started strong. We were busy approving resolutions for enhancing judicial security. We elected to hold that 4 hours of minimum continuing education can be satisfied with moot court, mock trials, arbitration and mediation competitions at school. We are promoting protection of pets in family law and restraining order disputes, encouraging taking a week off for lawyers to de-stress, and advocating that schools teach the Holocaust to students through grade 12, in order to promote tolerance and understanding. It is great to be a part of this amazing organization, 40,000 members strong. For more information on what was passed, please visit American Bar Association.
